The Boeing 717 was a short-range jet airliner built by Boeing. It was derived from the Boeing 367-80 prototype and the Boeing 707 airliner, and was designed to be a passenger aircraft but ended up being used as a military aerial tanker aircraft (the KC-135) due to its narrow fuselage. I really appreciated that SWISS offered a choice of beverage and pyjamas on this flight. The pyjamas were from the luxury Swiss underwear brand Zimmerli and fitted perfectly; they were soft, comfortable, and breathable.
